Mellen Series
The Mellen Series
The Foundation, established in honor of Edward J. and Louise E. Mellen, lifelong residents of Greater Cleveland who shared a commitment to Cleveland, the community, and its institutions.
Mr. and Ms. Mellen believed that their resources came from the community and therefore should return to the community to support its institutions, particularly those related to education and health care.
Funds from this endowment support and make the following ventures possible.

The primary function of the Mellen Research Seminar series is to promote and enrich the research environment at the Boler College.
Each semester, researchers from all business disciplines, including accounting, economics, finance, logistics, management, and marketing, present their current research projects to our faculty, students, and invited guests. The seminars provide a venue that aids both Boler faculty as well as guest speakers from other institutions an opportunity to interact and improve their research projects. Seminars are a critical resource that help faculty to consistently produce high quality research.
When available, drafts of working papers will be supplied in advance of each seminar.
If you are interested in attending an upcoming event, would like to be notified of all future seminars, or would like to serve as a presenter, please contact:

This event provides our constituents with real world applications of business principles and an opportunity to interact with distinguished business leaders in group settings as well as one-on-one. We have had the privilege of hosting a veritable “who’s who” list of top business leaders throughout Ohio, including numerous CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.
