Universidad del Pacifico is a small co-founded Jesuit university located in Lima, Peru with an international focus. Students can choose from courses in Business Management, Accounting, Law, Economics, Business Engineering, and the Humanities.

Universidad del Pacifico is located in Lima, Peru. This huge city is the capital of Peru, and is also a cultural center–with a thriving theater scene, hundreds of culinary options, beautiful beaches, and centuries of interesting history.

Courses at the Universidad del Pacifico are conducted in Spanish and in English. For an additional cost of $450, students can also take a 2 week intensive Spanish Language course prior to the start of the semester in Lima. The academic year at the Universidad del Pacífico at the undergraduate level consists of two semesters. The first semester begins in late-March and ends in July; the second semester begins in mid-August and ends in mid-December.

Financial Aid Information:

Students are able to apply all their financial aid, with the exception of work study, to this program. This includes scholarships, federal, and state aid. To learn how to take advantage of this opportunity, please consult with the Office of Financial Aid.

  • Tuition: JCU Tuition including Federal, State, and JCU aid
  • Administrative Fee $1,000

Costs may fluctuate depending on the exchange rate. 

Accommodations:

Students stay in Homestays with a local family, or in Student Houses (dorm-style living with shared kitchens and common areas).

The International Relations Office at UDP will help you to make housing arrangements.

Visas:

A Visa is required in order to study in Peru. Universidad del Pacifico will file the Visa application and will notify the student when it is ready for pickup at the nearest Peruvian Embassy (Washington, D.C.).
