In addition to courses in Japanese and Chinese language, students can choose from a variety of topical courses. Course availability and offerings vary by semester and year.
Each year, AS sponsors a special interdisciplinary study program with a study tour to Asia.
The Asian Studies program is steered by an interdisciplinary committee of JCU faculty. Faculty from across many disciplines created and continue to drive the AS program.
AS students are strongly encouraged to participate in short-term, semester, or year-long study abroad programs, especially ones that include language study, in Asian countries. Learn more by clicking here.
