The Boler College of Business is among only 6% of business schools worldwide that hold accreditation from AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and among 2% of the world’s schools with independent accreditation for accountancy.

The Educator Preparation Program is approved by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Prepartion (AAQEP) for the preparation of Primary, Middle Childhood, Adolescent and Young Adult, and Multi-Age school teachers and principals. These programs were previously accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)  through the 2024-2025 academic year.

The undergraduate degree program in chemistry is approved by the Committee on Professional Training of the the American Chemical Society (ACS). Students majoring in chemistry can receive an ACS-certified degree with the appropriate coursework.

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling and the School Counseling Programs are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

John Carroll University's Bachelor of Science in Nursing has conditional approval from the Ohio Board of Nursing and is seeking accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

The Engineering Physics program in the department of Physics aligns with ABET accreditation standards. The department will formally apply for ABET accreditation in 2025 after our first cohort graduates.

The Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis is eligible to initiate the accreditation process through the Association for Behavior Analysis International in Summer 2025.
