The following announcement appeared in the October 30, 2017 CAS Dean's Report: January 12th, 2018 will be a JCU Professional Development Day, hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences with the support of the Boler School, Student Affairs, Grasselli Library, CSSA, and the Office of Mission and Identity. A day of concurrent sessions will be planned to provide community members with concrete ideas about teaching and learning, scholarship, and campus leadership to incorporate into our daily work in the University. Weigh in on the offerings: Take this short survey to indicate your preferences for the sessions we offer. In a few weeks we'll ask you if you're interested in contributing your own expertise to the day. We hope that Development Day will provide a chance to connect with colleagues across the University and with people one may not encounter on a daily basis during the semester.
