Canvas is the Learning Management System used to support and enhance teaching and learning at John Carroll University. Depending on your role (faculty, staff, or student), and your needs, there are a number of options for getting Canvas support at JCU.

1. The ITS Help Desk: (216) 397-3005 | helpdesk@jcu.edu

The ITS Help Desk provides front line technology support to the JCU community by ensuring that all incoming requests for support are routed to the appropriate ITS staff member for timely resolution. The Help Desk also makes available a self-service portal located at helpdesk.jcu.edu that allows users to submit support tickets, view the status of current tickets, or view their support ticket history.

2. The Center for Digital Media: (216) 397-4930 | cdm@jcu.edu

The Center for Digital Media (CDM) provides instructional design support, one-on-one consultations, videography, and workshops for faculty who are are looking to get the most out of Canvas. The CDM is staffed by full-time multimedia & instructional technology specialists, as well as a team of student assistants and a graduate assistant.
