Day of Giving is about the strength of our collective impact — every person and every gift counts. By coming together, we can create even more opportunities for JCU students. The act of giving is just as important as what you give. Our JCU alumni participation goal for the year is 13.75%. Currently, we are at 10%. A successful Day of Giving can help us meet this goal, which improves our reputation and rankings, making a JCU degree even more valuable.
Our goal this Day of Giving is to rally at least 750 donors to give to JCU! Only gifts that are made between 4:33 p.m. on March 30th and 11:59 p.m. on March 31 will be counted for JCU Day of Giving. JCU Day of Giving is featuring a special JCU Athletics challenge during the campaign. Gifts to JCU Athletics Day of Giving will count toward the overall JCU Day of Giving total.
Challenges and matching gifts help inspire others in the JCU community to give back for JCU Day of Giving. Matching gifts are made on a per-donor basis (e.g. I will match up to $500 for the next $500 that is donated). Challenges are milestone-based (e.g. if 100 people make a donation, I will give $250).
Challenge and matching gifts are great ways to amplify the impact of your gift to John Carroll University. Challenge and matching gifts of all sizes are needed for a successful Day of Giving!
