John Carroll University's 100 Years of Athletics Gala has been canceled following a directive from Ohio Governor Mike Dewine to limit large gatherings to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The decision comes as part of the University's preventative measures, which include a transition to online classes on Monday, March 16.

The gala dinner was scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center. Attendees, participants, and sponsors were notified of the decision on Tuesday.

"God bless each of you for supporting our Blue Streaks. will continue to highlight the history, tradition, champions, and leaders of a century of Blue Streaks Athletics throughout the spring semester.
