JCU recognized for 31st consecutive year on Best Regional Universities in the Midwest list
John Carroll University has earned the #2 spot in the 2020 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Rankings, among Best Regional Universities in the Midwest.
The distinction marks an improvement of two spots from 2019; John Carroll is the highest-ranked university from the state of Ohio, and the highest-ranked Jesuit institution. This is also the 31st consecutive time that the University has been recognized as a top 10 university in the Midwest.
John Carroll also received the top ranking in the Midwest for Best Undergraduate Teaching.

John Carroll was also recently honored by “Kiplinger’s Personal Finance,” ranking 153rd out of 400 on the magazine’s “Best College Values for 2019” and 48th on Kiplinger’s list of “Top 50 Private Universities.” The University was also named one of the 159 best colleges in the Midwest, according to The Princeton Review’s "Best in the Midwest" honors.
