John Carroll University student Megan Mulligan ’15, who is majoring in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience, recently earned a diploma in business French from the Paris Chamber of Commerce. Mulligan, of Columbus, Ohio, is minoring in French. She also is a member of JCU Emergency Medical Services and the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. To earn the diploma, Mulligan passed a series of examinations in comprehending, writing, and speaking French in business settings. The written and listening portions of the test were sent from Paris, administered on the JCU campus, and then returned to Paris for evaluation. Mulligan also took two oral examinations with French speakers living in the Cleveland area.
