Stacey Litam, a recent graduate of JCU's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program, was awarded the sole 2014 Emerging Leader Award, master's level, from the Association of Humanistic Counselors, a division of the American Counselors Association. Additionally, Stacey has recently been accepted into the Holmes Scholars Program. This prestigious program is a national organization sponsored by the American Association for College of Teacher Education (AACTE), and provides mentorship, peer support, and professional development opportunities to doctoral students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds pursuing careers in education. Stacey is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Kent State University's Counseling and Human Development Services program. We wish her continued success!
