The Clinical Mental Health (M.A.) program exposes students to in-depth training—featuring three semesters of fieldwork experience—and evidence-based teaching to prepare students for today’s mental health challenges and to become leaders in the field. This 60 credit hour program leads to Master of Arts degree and license eligibility in the State of Ohio for license of Professional Counselor (PC).

Coursework is delivered fully online and completed in 2 years (or 6 semesters), with onsite practicum and internship required for program completion.

The Digital Marketing & Communication Strategy (M.S.) program takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding digital marketing. The program combines coursework from the Tim Russert Department of Communication and the Boler College of Business to give students a marketplace advantage through integrated studies in marketing, communication, PR, and advertising.

This fully online program is composed of three stackable (9-credit) certificates and culminates with a (3 credit) capstone course for a 30 credit hour program which can be completed in as little as 1 year. Stand alone or stackable certificates available in:

The Sports Leadership (M.A.) program is fully online and emphasizes key areas that sports professionals draw on every day, including psychology, communication, marketing, finance, and ethics. The Advanced Studies (M.Ed.) program is for certified and licensed teachers. It is designed to encourage individual interest and to develop further the competencies of a master teacher. Students choose from multiple specialization areas including

The Applied Behavior Analysis (M.S.) program combines an in-depth and diversified academic curriculum with real-world experience to prepare students to seek professional certification as a Behavior Analyst. Students are prepared for a wide range of careers—such as working with individuals with autism, education, counseling, and other roles across a range of industries.

This 39 credit hour program is delivered using a mix of in-person and synchronous online instruction and can be completed in 2 years.

The Educational Psychology (M.Ed.) program focuses on learning theories, human development, research methods, assessment, and measurements which could be utilized in a variety of settings and fields.

The Exercise Physiology (M.S.) program prepares students to attain certification and competitively enter careers in the fields of healthcare and sport/human performance with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology or Human Performance.

This 30 credit hour program is delivered primarily in-person with synchronous online and hybrid course options, and can be completed in as little as 1 year.

The Nonprofit Administration (M.A.) program is an interdisciplinary professional degree housed in the Boler College of Business. The program is intended for those who have, or expect to have, careers managing or administering nonprofit organizations in areas in which direct assistance is provided to people in need. It prepares students to serve their organizations and their communities by learning leadership, team-building, ethical values and practices, and nonprofit financial, fundraising and resource management.

This 36 credit hour program leads to a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. Students will learn through in-person and hybrid instruction, and complete the degree in 2 years.

The Professional Teacher (M.Ed.) with Initial Licensure program is designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree and wish to obtain a teaching license while completing an M.Ed. degree, but need to learn at their own pace.

Instruction is delivered in-person and online with in-person student teaching requirement in the last semester. The number of credit hours varies by teaching licensure requirements. The program can take 2-3 years to complete.

The School-Based (M.Ed.) with Initial Licensure program is a full-time, accelerated 11-month program designed for students who hold a bachelor's degree and wish to obtain a teaching license while completing an M.Ed. degree.

Instruction is primarily online with in-person teaching internship at a partner school for a full academic year (Fall/Spring). Students are matched with a master teacher in their licensure field who will guide you through each phase of classroom development: teaching, pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment.

The School Counseling (M.Ed.) program provides the needed skills, expertise, and hands-on experience to help children, adolescents, and young adult students with their academic, personal, and career development. 

This 60 credit hour program leads to a Master of Education Degree (M.Ed) and license eligibility as a school counselor in the State of Ohio.  Coursework is delivered in-person and online, with onsite practicum and internship required for program completion. The Biology (M.S.) program is a 30 credit hour in-person program that prepares students for a variety of field-relevant careers, such as educators, environmental consultants, and governmental biologists, as well as doctoral studies in a variety of biological disciplines.  All students applying to the M.S. program will be considered for a Graduate Teaching Assistantship.

The Biology (M.A.) program is a 30 credit hour in-person program that is ideal for those preparing for a position in education or other graduate or professional programs, such as medical or dental school.

The Content Marketing Certificate (9 credit hours) is designed for students who want to expand their understanding of content creation, explore a range of tools and strategies for generating brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and create effective communications across emerging media channels and platforms. The K-12 Online Reading Endorsement program is a four- to five-course (12-15 credit hours) program depending on previous coursework taught completely online over the course of a fall and spring semester during convenient evening class times. For licensed K-12 educators looking to increase their skills and gain a competitive (and sometimes required) resume enhancement, this completely online program prepares teachers in designing equitable literacy curriculum, selecting reading assessments to diagnose literacy skills, and administering literacy intervention.

The Pastoral Ministry Certificate (18 credit hours) is a program that covers the principal areas of Catholic theology relevant to ministering in today's church. Students can take the classes on-campus, hyflex, or online. This program meets the academic requirements needed to become a Certified Lay Ecclesial Minister in the Diocese of Cleveland. The certificate courses can be used toward the Master of Arts in Theology & Religious Studies.
