For example, "I would like updated financial information on John Smith '78 (ID A012345678)" or "I need briefings for a Boler School event" or "I need a profile on Jane Doe '82 (ID A987546123)" or "Please remove John Doe from my pool."
Is there anything the research staff should know about the prospect, or this request prior to conducting the research? For example, an alumnus told you that Jane Doe recently sold her company; or I am planning on asking John Smith for a major gift in conjunction with his reunion; or John Doe does not have the ability to give a major gift, should be an annual fund prospect, or should not be a prospect at all (etc).
