2022 Faculty Summer Book Read - "Linguistic Justice"

Please register here for the 2022 Faculty Summer Book Club. Our book selection for this session is the book Linguistic Justice: Black Language, Literacy, Identity, and Pedagogy by April Baker-Bell.

The book club will meet from 1:00-2:00 pm on six subsequent Wednesdays, beginning June 1 and running through July 6. (Please do not register if you cannot attend at least half of the scheduled discussion sessions.)

All discussion meetings will be held online via Zoom. As we meet near the lunch hour, participants are encouraged to bring their lunches to the meeting as they like.

While this book focuses on the faculty experience, registration for the book club is open to all interested staff (including graduate assistants), in additional to all full-time and part-time faculty.

Each participant who registers by Friday, May 20 will receive their own copy of the book to keep. Please indicate your preferred book format below.
