Disability Awareness Lunch-and-Learn Workshop

Who: All students, faculty, and staff are welcome!
Sponsored by: Student Accessibility Services, JCU Career Services, CSDI Wayfinders Program, and the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.



Participants in this workshop will:

  • Increase in their knowledge and awareness of disability employment challenges, opportunities, and available resources

  • Celebrate and learn about Disability Employment Awareness month

  • Learn how to utilize current JCU resources, including SAS, CSDI Wayfinders, and Career Services.

Lunch will be provided. You can also earn raffle tickets for a fun prize and t-shirts. Disability Awareness stickers will be available to take and display. There will also be DEI champion points for faculty and staff. 

Please note that, per COVID protocols, all participants are expected to remain masked while not actively eating or drinking. We will identify a seating area for participants who wish to maintain social distancing while eating.
