The Honors Student Association (HSA) is a student organization on campus. Membership in the HSA is open to all Honors Program members.

The purpose of the HSA is to organize social, informational, and educational events, either for the benefit of honors students, or to give honors students an opportunity to demonstrate academic leadership for the campus community in general.

Some events organized by the HSA have included:

  • Trip to the Cleveland Ingenuity Festival on the downtown lakefront
  • Cleveland Orchestra performances
  • Visit to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens’ “Glow” Exhibition
  • Student opera performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music
  • British "high tea" and historical lecture
  • Downtown walking tour
  • Movie nights
  • Social gatherings
  • Lectures and talks
  • Commencement flower sale fundraiser
