Study Abroad for GSW Students

As part of the goal of students examining gender from multiple perspectives and in a global context, the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program strongly encourages students to take part in study abroad experiences. It may also be possible to use this to fulfill the “Group 3 Global/Diverse” major/minor requirement. John Carroll offers study abroad opportunities for an entire semester, three-week courses, and and shorter immersion trips. Please talk to the program director about what type of experience might be right for you!
