Jo Anna Crago is a Pittsburgh native who graduated with an undergraduate degree in Accounting from John Carroll University in 1996.  She began her professional career in the Audit Department of Deloitte’s Pittsburgh Office but spent most of her tenure there in the Tax Department, helping multinational corporate clients with income tax accounting and compliance.  While there, Jo Anna earned her Masters in Taxation degree from Duquesne University.  She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

In 2005, Jo Anna decided to make a career change and joined a spin-off company of Deloitte as the Director of Recruiting for its Pittsburgh Office.  She was responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring every Consultant for the Pittsburgh market.  Since then, she’s helped hundreds of Accounting and Finance professionals further their careers.  She continues her services as a Director of Recruiting for Pinnacle Accounting and Finance, where she collaborates with the Consulting Team to attract and hire top talent and drive business development.

Outside the office, Jo Anna and her husband, Brian, keep busy with three young children.  They love to go camping, travel, watch movies, and eat lots and lots of popcorn!

Amy Marchlen is a Chicago-based Associate Vice President of Compensation at Revantage under The Blackstone Group.  She has previously held consulting roles at Hay Group and Aon Hewitt, and worked in Compensation at The University of Chicago Medical Center.  Amy is a 2010 graduate receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, focusing on Management, Human Resources, and Psychology.  She also received her Master of Science in Human Resource Management and MBA from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, as well as her Professional in Human Resources Certification.  

In her spare time, Amy acts as the Personnel Vice President of the Junior League of Chicago, President of the Lambda Mu Chapter of Chi Omega House Corporation at Loyola University Chicago, Treasurer of the Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic Conference, and is the President of the John Carroll Chicago Alumni Chapter.  She also is the Chief People Officer and Co-founder of Karmascore, a woman-owned start-up that aims to help app users build healthier, stronger, and more engaging relationships.

George Sample is a Cleveland native who graduated from John Hay High School. George proceeded to John Carroll University, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He later returned to John Carroll to earn his MBA.

George is Assistant Vice President - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Opportunity for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Prior to joining the Bank, George served as the Director of Human Resources for the Cuyahoga County Public Library. Before that, George served in Human Resources Manager roles at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District and The Lubrizol Corporation.

George is President of the Cleveland Society of Human Resource Management. George serves on the Executive Committees of the Board of Directors for John Carroll University and the United Way of Greater Cleveland. George previously served as President of the Board for the United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland.

George resides in Strongsville with his wife Tanya, and his daughters Jordan and AJ. George plays recreational basketball and tournament paintball.

Mike Winkler, MLRHR, PHR is a Pittsburgh native who graduated with an economics degree from John Carroll in 2009. He is currently a Senior Strategic People Partner for Chime, one of the fastest-growing financial technology companies in the US recently valued at $25.5 billion, and the company’s HR leader for their Chicago office. Mike began his HR career as a training and recruiting manager for Apple. While there, he earned his Master in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State University, and upon graduation joined the HR team at Parker Hannifin in Chicago. Prior to Chime, Mike was the HR leader for Crate & Barrel’s CB2 brand. Mike is a member of the Chicago Alumni Chapter board, and a mentor for undergraduate members of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity across the nation interested in careers in HR. 

Rosanna Miguel, Ph.D., SPHR is an associate professor in the Boler College of Business where she teaches Management and Human Resources. Rosanna’s research in employee selection and adverse impact, public sector motivation, and management education has been published in Journal of Business Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Leadership Education, and Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice. Rosanna brings over twenty years of consulting experience in human resources and business psychology. Throughout her career, she has specialized in developing effective, legally defensible employee selection systems for a variety of organizations. In addition, Rosanna has designed assessment systems that provide developmental feedback to individual contributors and managers. She has assessed and coached executives and other leaders to improve relationship management and other competencies. Rosanna has a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
