Dr. Martina S. Moore has been providing professional trainings and development services to others for over 20 years. She holds a Ph.D. in counseling, education, and supervision.  Dr. Moore is also the President and CEO of Moore Counseling & Mediation Services, Inc. (MCMS). MCMS has several outpatient alcohol and drug treatment centers throughout northeastern Ohio and Florida. 

Dr. Moore is also a professor at John Carroll University and an instructor at The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.  In August of 2017 and 2018, Dr. Moore traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where she taught students and psychology professionals about treatment methods for the substance use disorder population. 

Dr. Moore completed her Ph.D. at Walden University in Counseling Education and Supervision with a specialization in Consultation.  She holds a Master of Art’s degree in Community Counseling and Human Services from John Carroll University and a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Psychology from Notre Dame College.  She has also obtained certifications through Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), Certified Mediator and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). 

In 2015, Dr. Moore received the Progressive Female Entrepreneur award from Smart Business Magazine. In 2016, she received the Community Service Pillar Award from Medical Mutual of Ohio.  She was recognized as the 2017 Business Person of the Year by the Euclid Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Dr. Moore is featured in the Women for Economic Leadership Development 2019 WELDing the Way calendar, which highlights high impact women leaders in the Cleveland area. She also served as President of the Ohio Counseling Association from 2019 to 2020.Last, but not least, Dr. Moore created the Ohio Substance Use Disorders Professionals (OSUDP), a committee that serves to promote a greater awareness, advocacy, and understanding of substance use disorder issues and support for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. She is also the 2020 president of OSUDP.

 

Tommy Bruno is the General Manager and Executive Director of WAPS-FM “The Summit,” an award-winning, public radio music station broadcasting in Akron - Canton at 91.3FM, throughout Youngstown – Warren, Ohio and western Pennsylvania at 90.7FM, and worldwide via mobile and thesummit.fm  Bruno is responsible for fundraising, business development, and the strategic growth plans of the radio station, and its brands. He also works closely with Friends of The Summit, an independent support and management organization dedicated to growing the mission. Prior to being named general manager in 2000, Mr. Bruno served as a producer for WJW-TV, a FOX network television station in Cleveland, Ohio. Together with a talented team at The Summit,  Bruno co-created and operates three award-winning online, streaming radio stations: “KIDJAM!™” Radio kidjamradio.com  featuring positive music and programming for young listeners and “Rock and Recovery™,” rockandrecovery.com, mixes music with stories that will inspire listeners, and messages to give strength and hope, and The 330 – the past, present, and future of Northeast Ohio music. For his efforts, Bruno has received a variety of regional and national awards. 

 

Bruno has served on numerous nonprofit boards and advisory groups throughout the region including the Akron Community Foundation, Northern Ohio Golf Charities, SEI Summit Education Initiative, Akron Public Schools, John Carroll University Alumni Association, and Walsh Jesuit High School. He is a 1995 graduate of John Carroll University.
