Beyond Life's Moments, takes the readers on a journey of self-growth to learn how to thrive throughout and beyond our life challenges or setbacks. The collection of narratives, reflections and true stories in her book reveal eight recurring lessons and a novel mindset that are ingrained in the midst of our life obstacles; these lessons not only allow us to overcome setbacks and navigate through our stressors, they are applicable in seizing new, future opportunities and have positive implications on our personal and professional lives. Beyond Life's Moments will allow you to embrace your life story up to this moment, recognize how far you have come, and become excited to read what awaits you in the beyond as your journey unfolds to allow you to pursue your passions and purpose(s).

In the spirit of lifelong learning, the John Carroll University Alumni Author Series provides alumni the opportunity to share their research, knowledge, and creative works with the JCU Community. Authors will engage in a moderated discussion with a member of the JCU Office of Alumni Staff and take questions from participants. While it may be helpful to read the featured book in advance, it is not necessary, as this forum provides an opportunity for the author to introduce their work to the community.
