Jim Moses '80 continues to trail blaze in the face of a global pandemic as he manages the future of air travel for American Airlines at the world’s 4th busiest airport in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). As American’s vice president of DFW operations, he leads approximately 16,000 team members and oversees nearly 900 daily flights and millions of customers at the airline’s largest and most important hub. Jim is known for a leadership philosophy that creates a culture that puts team members first, which is more important than ever as he manages through the impact of the pandemic. Previously, Jim led operations at airports in Philadelphia (PHL), New York (JFK, LGA), Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), and he oversaw American’s Premium Guest Services. Jim began his career with American Airlines as a flight attendant in 1982 after receiving a marketing degree from the Boler College of Business and playing football for the Blue Streaks.
