About Community Servings: Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. Our goals are to help our clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs. We rely on volunteer help to prepare and package 2,500 meals per day that are later delivered to our clients’ homes. Volunteers chop, peel, and process produce, seal meals, label meals by diets, portion soups, salads, and snacks, pack bags, and assemble meals in our commercial kitchen
Dress code (to be sent to volunteers): Anyone planning to volunteer should wear long sleeved shirt, pants without rips or tears, and shoes that completely cover the foot (like sneakers).
