About Shawn Pearce - Shawn's farming roots go back to a childhood vegetable garden, and his wine curiosity started with a tasting club he created with a professor in college. He took pairing and tasting classes while living in London, and wrote in his journal about grape farming and winemaking a decade before buying the Azcuénaga Vineyard in Lunlunta with his wife Celia in 2011. She is from Mendoza, Argentina; Celia and Shawn live in Buffalo, NY and spend 2 to 3 months each year in Mendoza. Shawn earned a Winemaker's Certification in 2016 from University of California-Davis.
