Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (the ADA), employees can request reasonable accommodations for any documented disability. This provision is particularly applicable during the COVID-19 pandemic, where employees may seek accommodations due to disabilities that make them more susceptible or that impact how and with what equipment they may need to perform their work. In this session on COVID-19: Reasonable Accommodations Process, Human Resources and Legal Affairs will review the University’s accommodation process and procedures, and discuss how COVID-related accommodation requests are addressed under the ADA and University policies. There will be an opportunity for discussion.
