Cafsgiving

Every year on the Thursday prior to Thanksgiving, our campus community gathers together for a special Thanksgiving celebration in the Schott Dining Hall, dubbed "Cafsgiving." Read more about the history of our tradition and its significance to the JCU family here

 

Campus Tree Planting

Each year, the John Carroll University family gathers around the holidays for a time-honored tradition, Christmas Carroll Eve. This year, all members of the community will be invited to attend the lighting of the JCU Christmas Tree for the first time on Dec. 11 as part of the Christmas Carroll Eve celebration. On Nov. 23, the tree was planted on campus in anticipation of the event.

 

Giving Tuesday 2021

On Nov. 30, John Carroll celebrated Giving Tuesday with our generous network of supporters. With every $25 donation to the University during Giving Tuesday, donors received a pair of JCU socks!

Streak the Center

On Friday, Dec. 3, the John Carroll campus community gathered together for "Streak the Center," an SUPB event that featured a synthetic ice rink, food truck, and photo opportunities outside, along with movies, cookie decorating and crafts in the Dolan Science Center.

Tower Time with Lessons and Carols

The JCU community gathered together on Dec. 8 for an extra special Tower Time with Lessons & Carols from Campus Ministry. The event was held outside of St. Francis Chapel and featured four readings, carols, hot chocolate, desserts, and holiday giveaways.

Christmas Carroll Eve

Our campus community gathered together on Saturday, Dec. 11, in celebration of the return of one of JCU's most cherished holiday traditions, Christmas Carroll Eve. Read more about the history of Christmas Carroll Eve here.
