To ensure that the agreement is in the best interests of the University, has received the required institutional approval, and to determine who is authorized to approve and sign the agreement, the University has adopted a Contract Approval and Signatory Policy to govern contract review and approval. The Office of Legal Affairs has a new process that has been designed to create a standardized workflow for the preparation or review of contracts by Legal Affairs, and to create a better avenue to obtain appropriate internal approvals for contracts prepared or reviewed by the Office.
