The Office of Multicultural Affairs at John Carroll University presents   B.D. WONG of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” Lecture  “All the World’s a Stage: From Exclusion to Inclusion” Wednesday, November 17,  2010 7 p.m. Dolan Center for Science and Technology / Donahue Auditorium This event is free and open to the public.   WHAT:                In this lecture by Tony Award-winning actor B.D. Wong, he will discuss the many lessons he learned in order to excel in a career fraught with rejection and racism.  He will also discuss issues related to feelings of exclusion based on sexual orientation.  Wong will provide a unique perspective on issues of diversity, exclusion and inclusion.                                    The 2010-2011 Dr. Shirley S. Seaton Cultural Awareness Series, sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs at John Carroll University, celebrates diversity as integral to today’s society. WHO:                   B.D. Wong  is an actor featured on the NBC television program, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” as Dr. George Huang, a forensic psychiatrist and expert on the criminal mind. Wong is the only actor ever to have received all five major New York theater awards for a single role. For his performance in "M.
