John Carroll University today announced plans to celebrate the life of Chris Wenzler ’90, the selfless leader of John Carroll University’s Sports Information Department for more than 30 years, who died on Tuesday, June 23.
Sunday, June 28
Car Processional Through JCU Campus
Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to participate in a Celebration of Life Car Processional at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at John Carroll University. Cars should enter campus via the Belvoir Gate and follow directional signage. There will be an opportunity to wave to the Wenzler family on the route.
We respectfully ask that you remain in your vehicles for the duration of the route.
JCU apparel and signs are encouraged.

Livestream of Funeral Mass
Due to COVID-19, a private funeral mass for Chris will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. The service will be live-streamed on the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home Facebook page.
Chris Wenzler Memorial Fund
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chris Wenzler Memorial Fund to support John Carroll students traveling on immersion trips.
