University Heights, OH — A funeral mass for John Carroll University student, Matthew Crozier, will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church  in Gates Mills on Tuesday, January 11, at 10 a.m. Calling hours will take place at the Fioritto Funeral Home in Lyndhurst on Monday, January 10, 4-8 p.m. This service will be preceded by a funeral mass in Yardley, Pennsylvania at St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m.   The 20-year old Crozier, a junior, majoring in Business Management, sustained an accidental head injury on January 1, 2011 in Philadelphia, and was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He died on January 5. Crozier was a standout member on John Carroll’s basketball team, earning recognition as an All-Conference performer.  He graduated from LaSalle College High School in Philadelphia, after spending part of his childhood in Greater Cleveland, where he attended St. Paschal Baylon School in Highland Heights.
