Doan Winkel, Ph.D., has been elected President of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE).
Winkel is the John J. Kahl, Sr. Chair in Entrepreneurship and the Director of the Edward M. Muldoon Center for Entrepreneurship at John Carroll University.
USASBE is an inclusive community of entrepreneurship educators and scholars devoted to advancing entrepreneurship education through bold teaching, scholarship, and practice.
"His election to this prestigious position is indicative of the success of the Muldoon Center in spreading entrepreneurship across our campus and into the broader Cleveland community," said Al Miciak, Ph.D., Dean of the Boler College of Business. "It is a testament to the hard work of Doan and his team, including Dr. Jackie Schmidt, Tom Bonda, Cat Stover, Lisa Heckman, and Roslyn Ng."
