WHO: Henry Meyer III is the Chairman and CEO of KeyCorp in Cleveland, Ohio. He was elected vice chairman of the board of KeyCorp in September 1996, president in May 1997, and chief executive officer in February 2001. Meyer was elected chairman of the board of KeyCorp in May 2001. Under Mr. Meyer’s leadership, KeyCorp has seen improved financial performance and has become the nation’s 12th largest branch network. Mr. Meyer shares a wealth of expertise and business knowledge in the city of Cleveland, serving on a number of boards in the greater Cleveland area. He is as a trustee of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc., Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education and ideastream (WVIZ/PBS and WCPN). He is chairman of the board of trustees of United Way of Greater Cleveland, and University School, a board member of University Hospitals Health System, Inc., as well as immediate past chairman of the board of directors of both University Hospitals Health System, Inc. and University Hospitals of Cleveland.
