John Carroll University has once again received high marks from Washington Monthly. The magazine, which rates schools based on their contribution to the public good, ranked JCU #19 of 684 best colleges and universities nationally that offer master's degrees.
The magazine ratings are based on each school’s contribution to the public good in three major categories:
- Social Mobility – recruiting and graduating low-income students
- Research – producing cutting-edge scholarship and Ph.D.’s
- Service – encouraging students to give something back to their country
