John Carroll University is #4 on Cleveland.com's list of 20 Ohio colleges with the highest earnings potential. According to the ranking, JCU alumni who received federal financial aid as students were earning a median salary of $51,000, ten years after they started college. The Cleveland.com rating is based on a study—“Ranking Your College: Where You Go and What You Make”—by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (Georgetown Center). The Georgetown Center report was developed to follow-up on information released in September by the U.S. Department of Education on its College Scorecard website. Data was collected by the federal government from 2010 to 2012.
