Veterans Day is reserved to honor and pay tribute to Military Veterans who have served in the past, presently serving, and to those who will serve in the future. This Veterans Day, the Cadets from John Carroll University’s Wolfpack Battalion will take part in ceremonies around the Cleveland area.

Thursday, November 10th, Army ROTC Cadets from the Wolfpack Battalion will present the National Colors at Cleveland State University's Veterans Day ceremony. The event theme is "Honoring Women Who Served," and the Wolfpack Battalion recruiting officer, Ms. Theresa Bodnar is a guest speaker at the event. Ms. Bodnar has over 20 years of service and currently serves in the Army Reserve as a Colonel.

On Friday, November 11th, the Veterans Students Association, led by Paul Corley will host a community social for members and their families at Pinstripes in Beachwood, Ohio.  The event is one of many programs aimed to revitalize the organization and is sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

On Saturday, November 12th, Cadets will participate in the Western Reserve Society of the Sons of the American Revolution Veterans Day program at Shaker Heights Country Club.

Ending the Veterans Day celebration weekend, Cadets will present the colors at the final John Carroll University home football game of the season at Don Shula Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon.

To all of those who have served in our armed forces, please accept the gratitude of the JCU community. As we prepare to celebrate Veterans Day, we sincerely hope that all those on our campus will take time to remember, honor, and thank the veterans among us.
