John Carroll University’s Boler College of Business has once again been recognized as a leader in graduate business education, earning a spot on Fortune’s Best MBA Programs for 2025 list for the second consecutive year.

In the latest rankings, Boler’s Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) earned the following distinctions:

#3 Jesuit MBA Program in the Nation

#4 MBA Program in Ohio

#77 MBA Program in the Nation Overall

“These rankings underscore the commitment we’ve made over the last several years to offer the highest quality MBA program to our students,” said Joanna Garcia, Interim Dean for the Boler College of Business. “We’ve been intentional about designing programs to meet a variety of student needs, from recent graduates to more seasoned professionals. We have leaned into our strong network of alumni at Northeast Ohio businesses to offer students opportunities to engage with business professionals on real-world issues throughout their time at JCU.”

John Carroll’s MBA program offers two distinct pathways designed to meet students’ unique needs: the Boler MBA and the Professional MBA. The former equips recent graduates with the skills and competitive edge needed to thrive early in their careers, while the latter empowers experienced professionals to advance into senior management and leadership roles. Both tracks offer eight specializations and feature extensive experiential learning opportunities. Students can participate in initiatives like an annual global study trip, which has included destinations such as Israel, South Africa, and Brazil, providing firsthand exposure to international business environments. Additionally, the CEO Insights series brings prominent business leaders to campus to share their expertise and perspectives, enriching the student learning experience.

“We’re pleased that Fortune recognized the MBA program in our Boler College of Business, because it brings together the best of John Carroll: dynamic teaching, cutting-edge research, engaged alumni and employer partners, all designed to help our students advance both their careers and the common good,” said Bonnie Gunzenhauser, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

With a focus on practical application, personalized learning, and global perspectives, the John Carroll University MBA program empowers students to excel in an ever-changing business landscape.
