3rd Annual Kriya Yoga Seminar on Non-Violence explores Mind/Body Healing and Urban Renewal Special Guest Speaker Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., M.D., Former Cleveland Clinic Surgeon and Author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease   July 11-18 -Morning and Evening Classes- 6 a.m. /Administration Building, Room AD 258 6:30 p.m. / D.J. Lombardo Student Center, Jardine Room This event is free and open to the public.   WHO:          Swami Shree Yogi Satyam, Kriya Yoga master, will lead twice daily class. This program is free and        runs July 11-18. Kriya Yoga is the same practice of Mahatma Gandhi, who made no divisions between        personal, spiritual, social, and political life. This program teaches that non-violence is the complete                                        education essential for every human being.         Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn is a former internationally known Cleveland Clinic surgeon whose book,        Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease, calls the number one killer in America, cardiovascular disease, a         "paper tiger.”  He conducted a study over a 20 year period, showing that a shift to a vegetarian diet,          based on complete foods and whole grains can dramatically curb the risk of heart disease. WHAT:         Yogi Satyam will lead guided meditations on relieving stress during his Kriya Yoga seminar, entitled         “How Kriya Yoga solves all problems of every facet of society.” Topics will include: health, peace,          race, religion, economics, education, and family life.
