Johnson, Ph.D., has announced the appointment of Stephanie Levenson as the University’s new vice president for enrollment management. A national search was conducted for the position. "We are confident that Stephanie will have a major impact on John Carroll’s enrollment management goals,” said Dr. Johnson. “She has the operational expertise and leadership style to empower her team to navigate the complex process of recruiting high-achieving, talented students who are the right fit for JCU.” Levenson, a higher education enrollment management leader with more than twenty years of experience in undergraduate recruitment, marketing, and financial aid strategies, is currently the executive director of admission at Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL). Her achievements include increasing the average first-year class size by 160% over an eight-year period, and recruiting the largest incoming class of first-year and transfer students in the College's history. Levenson previously served as senior assistant director of admission for Loyola University Chicago (Chicago, Illinois), where she coordinated admission for international students in Europe and Asia, in addition to managing all aspects of recruitment in Chicago and New England. “This is an exciting time to join the John Carroll University community and I look forward to working with President Johnson and the rest of campus to recruit men and women for and with others,” Levenson said. An experienced presenter for higher education forums, Levenson is also a graduate of the Enrollment Leadership Academy of the College Board, a selective professional development program designed for admission and financial aid professionals who are committed to advancing the field of enrollment management.
