John Carroll University is ranked #7 overall in the Midwest in U.S. News & World Report's 2015 edition of Best Colleges. This marks the 26th consecutive year that the publication has named John Carroll a top 10 regional university offering master’s programs. The University also earned the #6 ranking in the “Great Schools at Great Prices” category. “This is great news for the John Carroll community as our faculty continues to develop a more integrative learning experience in academic programs that are relevant to the 21st century, such as healthcare information technology, entrepreneurship, and biochemistry, ” says John Carroll University President Rev. Robert L. Niehoff, S.J.  He emphasized, “We are providing a well-rounded, quality education that inspires students to improve the world around them.” The University is also ranked among the top five master’s granting colleges and universities in the Midwest highlighted for a “Strong Commitment to Undergraduate Teaching.”  Additionally, John Carroll is one of 18 schools featured for impressive “Service Learning” participation. Nearly 2,000 JCU students perform more than 100,000 hours of community service annually for local, national, and global organizations.
