U.S. News & World Report’ s 2016 “Best Colleges” guide ranks John Carroll University #7 among master’s-degree granting universities in the Midwest. John Carroll has ranked among the top 10 regional universities for 27 consecutive years. Additionally, John Carroll was highlighted at #3 for a “Strong Commitment to Undergraduate Teaching,” and at #7 among schools recognized in the “Great Schools, Great Prices” category, based on value and academic quality. “We welcome this great news as a reflection of the John Carroll experience, which is rooted in more than 125 years of academic excellence,” said John Carroll University President Rev. Robert L. Niehoff, S.J. “True to our mission, we are focused on educating the whole person — teaching our students to learn, lead, and serve,” added Niehoff. This year, the University's success in providing educational access to the nation's military veterans earned a #7 ranking. The "Best Colleges for Veterans" category focuses on schools that provide U.S. military veterans with the opportunity to enroll and pursue a college degree. John Carroll participates in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Yellow Ribbon program. The U.S. News & World Report college rankings are available online.
