Andrew Yeo is an Associate Professor of Politics and Director of Asian Studies at The Catholic University of America. He is the author of Activists, Alliances, and Anti-U.S. Base Protests (Cambridge University Press, 2011).   He is the principal investigator of a two year Korea Foundation sponsored project on North Korean human rights discourse and transnational advocacy, and is engaged in a five year collaborative research project, Exploring the Black Box of North Korea, through the Center for Strategic and International Studies. At Catholic University, he teaches courses on international relations, Asian security, human rights in Asia, the politics of overseas bases, and ideas and identity in international relations. Dr. Yeo is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a fellow at the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies.  He received his Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University in 2008 and a BA magna cum laude in Psychology and International Studies from Northwestern University. He and his wife and two young children reside in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
