Biography

Dr. Lorenzo Salvagni is a well-established language instructor, pianist and composer active in the Greater Cleveland area. He published essays and articles on 20th-century Italian literature, music and culture in edited collections and peer-reviewed journals. Before joining the faculty at JCU, Dr. Salvagni taught Italian language and literature at Duke University, UNC-Chapel Hill, Cuyahoga Community College and Case Western Reserve University. He is the Director of Music Ministries at Holy Rosary Church in Cleveland and staff pianist at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights.
