Why did you want to be a PHA?
I think my struggles with my mental health are a big motivator to become a Peer Health Advocate. I’ve had a lot of problems and struggles with my mental health and I’m still currently working on it too. I think the progress I’ve made here at John Carroll while struggling with these problems are important to share with other students who are also struggling too. I know what it’s like to feel hopeless and/or helpless. I want to voice out to others that it’s okay to feel this way and that there are ways for things to get better.
