Miles Coburn Environmental Symposium & 2nd Annual “Ride For Miles” An Event Honoring the Beloved JCU Professor, Cyclist, and Environmentalist -Saturday- September 12, 2009 10 a.m. The Miles Coburn Environmental Symposium and “Ride For Miles” honors the life and work of Miles Coburn. Dr. Coburn was a beloved John Carroll University Biology professor, avid cyclist, and environmentalist. The symposium will highlight a significant environmental topic each day, September 8-11, culminating with the Ride for Miles on September 12. Riders of all levels of ability are invited to participate in the 15-mile route. <Please register at www.jcu.edu.> The “Ride For Miles” on September 12 will begin and end in the John Carroll University parking lot adjacent to the Dolan Center for Science and Technology.
