The Boler School of Business presents “Lessons from the Financial Crisis for Corporate Governance,” a discussion forum, on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at 7 p.m. in the LSC Conference Room of the D.J. Lombardo Student Center. The forum will feature local business professionals discussing the causes and effects of the global financial crisis. Panelists include: Victor Alexander and Martha Raber from Key Bank, Brian Burkhardt from Avery Dennison, Carl Grassi from McDonald Hopkins, Jason Painley from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, and Mariah Webinger, an assistant professor of accountancy at John Carroll. John Carroll students, alumni, faculty, and the general public are invited to join the conversation. The event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by John Carroll University’s Accounting Association, Finance Association, and the KPMG Professorship in Accounting.
