WHAT: John Carroll University alumni, faculty, staff, and students are volunteering to prepare and electronically file income tax returns for families filing the 1040, 1040-A, or 1040 EZ forms. In order to take advantage of this free service: The family’s yearly income must be less than $42,000 per year . Taxpayers must make an appointment and bring all 2008 wage statements (W-2), as well as income statements regarding interest, dividend, and any other relevant information regarding earnings and expenses. *APPOINTMENTS – Please call 211 or 216.436.2000 and ask to register for the VITA Program at John Carroll.
