WHAT: John Carroll University is collaborating with the Thea Bowman Center (TBC) in support of the center’s community outreach efforts by providing a “makeover” of the TBC and its surroundings. “Makeover” activities will include: Playground landscaping Indoor painting of the center’s interior Outdoor painting of garages John Carroll’s Campus Ministry and Center for Service and Social Action developed the project to help students make a connection to the local community during their initial days on campus. Thea Bowman Center offers a safe, healthy environment and a range of services, including computer labs, a music school and other educational support programs.
