University Heights, OH –John Carroll University is ranked #4 in the “Great Schools, Great Prices” category of the 2010 edition of America’s Best Colleges by U.S. News Media Group. John Carroll also earned the #7 spot among universities in the Midwest offering master’s programs. This marks the 21st consecutive year that the University has been named one of the top 10 institutions in this category. "We are thrilled to be recognized in these two important categories, highlighting the quality and value of a John Carroll education," said Rev. Robert L. Niehoff, S.J., president of the University. "The rankings reflect our outstanding faculty and student success that has earned JCU an impressive four-year graduation rate. Our alumni, many of whom were the first in their families to attend college, tell the John Carroll story best, through their professional leadership and commitment to community service," he added. The exclusive rankings, which include more than 1,400 schools nationwide, are available today at www.usnews.com/colleges and will also be published in the September issue of the U.S.News & World Report magazine, on newsstands starting August 20.
