(Photo Credit: John Martinez, Senior Leadership of the Army) U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, presented the Soldier’s Medal to Lieutenant Colonel David Diamond (John Carroll ROTC Class of 1996 and a CWRU graduate) for his heroic actions following the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, 2013.
