WHAT: “BLUE GOLD COMMUNITY DAY” The John Carroll University Blue Streaks football team opens the 2009 season, taking on Thomas More College (Kentucky). Kick-off is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. As a partner in the NCAA’s “Take a Kid to the Game” program, John Carroll will offer FREE admission to all children age 12 and younger who are accompanied by a paid adult. Registration required. 11:15 a.m. Riddell Football will be on site with youth football safety tips, helmet sizing, and more. Free entertainment performed by Cleveland’s own, BlueLunch, a blues/jump/swing band. 11:30 a.m. Blue Streaks Game Day Hospitality Tent opens; food and beverages can be purchased. 1:30 p.m. KICKOFF!
