With the announcement that there will be no on campus classes for the entire Fall 2020 semester students will not be required to purchase parking permits.
All student parking areas whether it is Resident Permit or Commuter Permit parking will be considered General Parking and open to all students and visitors.
Areas designated as Faculty/Staff Parking will remain Faculty/Staff Parking only during the posted times. Those spaces that are posted as "Reserved" for a specific permit will also remain reserved for that specific permit at all times.
All other Parking/Traffic rules will continue to be in effect and enforced.
Details regarding parking permits for the Spring 2021 semester will be announced prior to the end of the 2020 calendar year.
The John Carroll University Police Department (JCUPD) is primarily responsible for ensuring the safety of all persons living, working, or visiting the University. This requires considerable attention to regulating the flow of traffic and the appropriate use of parking. We have developed rules to help govern traffic and parking on University property.
